Start a CASA/GAL program in your region

There are now 900 CASA/GAL programs in 49 states and the District of Columbia. But there are many regions in which children are still in need of our services.

See where we’re located.

If you are thinking about starting a CASA/GAL program in your region, it is important to understand that it is a significant undertaking that requires the cooperation and commitment of many people. It also requires a great deal of research, planning, organizing, and hard work.

National CASA/GAL and state offices will support you

Most states have a state CASA/GAL organization that will provide guidance and support, steer prospective programs to potential funding sources, and connect you to others in the state. Most importantly, the state office will also partner with you to develop a program that meets National CASA/GAL Association standards for local programs.

The staff at National CASA/GAL are another resource who will guide prospective programs, in conjunction with their state organization, through the program membership process and beyond.
